About Me

I'm a Sixth Form student juggling exams and university applications with the writing jammed in there on par with the coursework. I study English Lit, Religious Studies and History and I hope to take Philosophy at degree level. I'm a Military Brat, Third Culture Kid and a mutt (half English and half Filipina). I've moved house plenty of times and I was flying before I could walk. We've settled in England for now ... but I would quite like to get out of it again. I have an unhealthy amount of wanderlust and get withdrawal symptons if I haven't smelt a plane for a year. And that is pretty much all there is to me.

She tries to forget her origins. It is an illusion of escape, because true escape is not possible. The Great Isolation has rendered the City morally bankrupt. Her one pleasure lies in knowledge and books, greater pursuits from a greater age. They are forgotten in the State's baseness. With them, she retains a sense of conscience, but there are those around her that would destroy it.
